Big Green Box Week and the London Scavenger Hunt [Announcement]
**Big Green Box Week (BGBW) and the London Scavenger Hunt are just around the corner!
BGBW (12 – 19 June) will see people from across the UK take part in events to raise funds and awareness for ShelterBox, to make sure that when disaster strikes, we can immediately help those affected.
If you haven’t registered your team for the London Scavenger Hunt (12 June), there’s still time. All you need to do is complete one registration form for each team your Pack, Troop or Unit would like to enter and return in to youngshelterbox@shelterbox.org. It promises to be a great day with fantastic prizes for the winning teams.
If you can’t make it to London on 12 June, there’s still plenty of other ways your group can get involved – you can enter our ShelterBox building competition (details at http://www.youngshelterbox.org/events.php) or hold your own fundraising event to help people who have lost everything. And remember, by taking part in BGBW 2010, you’ll have automatically completed June’s activity of The ShelterBox Challenge!
