The postal shooting competition is run over the winter/spring months where it is not possible to stage a outdoor field target competition. Targets are sent to groups where they shot and returned to be scored.Each knockout round will be three targets per person 5 pellets at each target all scores count so the 66% highest scoring shooters of each age group go through to the next round then 50% of those highest scorers of round two and we will end up with a 1st 2nd and 3rd for each age group.
Round one to be completed and returned by Wednesday 3rd March Round two by Wednesday 7th April Round three to be returned by Wednesday 12th May. All three Rounds will be postal only
The entry fee of £2.75 per person must be paid by group cheques in advance.
This shooting competition may only be run by Qualified Leaders with appropriate shooting qualifications according to the most current Factsheet FS 120004 which should be identified on the entry form and enclose a copy of their certificate (unless previously supplied to the Area Shooting Adviser).
