Olympic Style Airgun Tournament

(These events are run by a qualified NSRA Club Coach, NSRA Club Instructors and NSRA YPS Airgun Instructors.)
Entry forms for this years Olympic Style Airgun Tournament at Jubilee Campsite, Peterston-super-Ely, are now available. Please download them and submit your entries by the cut off date of Monday, 20th September 2010. Or alternatively email Richie Phillips on shooting@catvog.org or call on 01446 748688 to request forms.
The Tournament is open to Scouts,Explorers, Network sections etc as well as leaders and helpers. Please note Beavers and Cubs are not eligable to enter. As spaces are limited it is advisable to get your entry forms and payment in as soon as possible. Any enteries received after the cut off will not be accepted.
There are new Permission to Shoot forms now and these must be used for this Tournament. No old forms will be accepted. Please download the latest forms or again contact Richie Phillips if unsure.

Following on from feedback from last years Tournament and observations the team made on the day, the format for this year has been changed.
Scouts will need to arrive between 9:00 and 9:15 for registration. Following on from this there will be a Safety Briefing. They will then be split in to 4 person "Details", with the first detail comencing at 9:30 on range 1. When they finish on this range they will move on to Range 2 and "Detail 2 " will move on to range 1 and so on. This is to avoid the problems we had last year with Scouts jumping ahead and causing long delays.
The morning session will finish approximately 12:45 and all Scouts must be off site by 13:00. The afternoon session which is for Explorers upwards will be run the same way but they are to arrive between 13:30 and 13:45. This session will finish about 4pm. Please note that the car park has limited spaces so Leaders will need to make arrangements to either bring their competitors or for them to be dropped off at the time specified. The gates of the car park will be closed before 9:00 and between 13:00 and 13:30.
Results from the Tournament will be anounced after the event. No cards will be marked on the day to free up the RCO's and Instructors to more effectively run the Tournament.
Each Competitor must complete a Permission to Shoot form and each group must also complete a Participation form and a Booking form.
