 Inter-net 2011

Inter-net 2011 May Newsletter

The BIG question………What do you get for your money………what do you get for your £260?

Inter-net 2011 may seem expensive at first glance but once you see what you’re getting for your money we think you’ll agree it’s an absolute bargain!!

7 day camp, the first Scout Network weeklong camp in the UK.
Gold Standard off-site activities including: Snowboarding, Skiing, Ringoing, Wakeboarding, Sailing, Quad Biking, Indoor Free Falling, Go-Karting, Parascending, Gliding & Horse Riding (subject to change).

A 48 hour foreign experience to a major European city, including a surprise activity when you arrive.

Evening entertainment…fun, games, live music & entertainment.
Competitions with fabulous prizes and a record breaking attempt every day.

Your own sub-camp team to make sure you get the most enjoyment out of the week.

All your standard onsite activities to keep you entertained.

Radio station, Daily Newsletter & podcasts.

Onsite facilities include Shops, catering, Internet Café, toilets and hot showers.

Inter-net 2011 t-shirt.

And memories and new friends that will stay with you for a life time![/list]

All this and the added bonus of a very flexible payment plan, we really don’t think you can afford to miss out?

Here is a few questions that have been asked during the roadshows so far:

Q. What is inter-net?
A. A week long Scout Network camp.

Q. Who is inter-net for?
A. All members of Scout Network. That is all members aged 17-24 the week of the event.

Q. When is inter-net?
A. Saturday 23rd – Saturday 30th July 2011

Q. Where is inter-net?
A. Newbury Showground, Newbury, Berkshire

Q. How much is it to attend?
A. £260 for Scout Network Members

Q. When do I have to pay?
A. We are taking deposits now. If you pay your deposit before 31st August 2010 you will get a £20 discount on the total price.

Q. I can’t afford to pay the amount in full. Is there an option to spread the cost?
A. Yes, we have set up a payment plan, breaking the cost down into ‘5’ easy installments. You can also pay a smaller amount on a weekly or monthly basis to make paying for inter-net 2011 even more flexible. As long as you meet the required payment deadlines, we are happy for you to pay in a flexible manner that meets your needs. For example, weekly or fortnightly payments via standing order.

Q. How can I pay?
A. You can pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer (the preferred method); payment details will be sent to you once you have registered.

Q. How do I register?
A. Just visit our website – www.inter-net.org.uk , and go to the ‘Click here to register’ link on the home page. Complete the registration form and consider yourself an official inter-net 2011 participant.

Q. Inter-net 2011 looks amazing but I am over 25 the week of the event. How can I get involved?
A. Don’t worry, go to the staff section of this site where jobs available are being advertised. You can simply apply online.

How can I pay?

You can pay by cheque or online, via standing order or direct debit. When you register you will receive an e-mail from the inter-net 2011 team, explaining how you can pay and giving you the details to do so. We have created a structured payment plan. However, if you want to pay in different installments you can. If you break the costs down and take advantage of the £20 discount, it comes to just under £6 per week......an absolute bargain!

Inter-net payment structure:
31 August 2010 - £50.00 (non-returnable deposit)
31 October 2010 - £50.00
30 November 2010 - £50.00 (also final payment for Scout Network Leaders)
28 February 2011 - £50.00
30 April 2011 - £60.00 (or £40.00 if you are entitled to the £20 discount
