Penarth and District Scout Activity Centre is a purpose built District Scout Headquarters. Situated within walking distance of Penarth town Centre and Sea Front. Cosmeston Country Park and Medieval Village are a short drive away. As is the Penarth Leisure Centre. Within walking Distance is a local Store for general groceries and there is a local fish & Chip Shop nearby.
The present building was built over the winter of 1988 - 1989. There is limited parking available. The main building consists of an entrance hall of which are Ladies and Gents toilets, A Payphone is situated in the foyer. There is a main meeting hall, off which is the Trophy room which is a comfortable room offering some bench seating and can be used for numerous things. Off the Trophy room is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, Microwave and electric stove.
The District Office is also situated in the Building and access is required for groups to pick up their mail, usually Saturday mornings.

Rifle Shooting
By prior arrangement. We have a qualified leader within the District who can offer Rifle shooting. Parental Permission is required and a form is downloadable from our website. There is a charge per head for this activity in addition to the Building Hire charges.
IT Training
We have a small number of networked PC’s and at the time of publishing this leaflet, we can offer a full weekend of IT Training up to stage 2 of the Scout Association 5 Stage badge. There is a charge for this activity to cover the costs of paper, ink etc and if we go on the Internet, this is also chargeable at £1 per hour.
Playing Field
Adjacent to PADSAC is a School/Public playing field ideal for those outdoor games
etc.
Scoutshop
Saturday Morning at PADSAC sees our District Scout Shop open and this is situated just off the Foyer and should not affect users of the hall. The shop is open from 10 am to 12 Noon. Some souvenirs are available, including PADSAC Blanket Badges. Uniform, Scouting Books etc.
