The Sub-Committee meets regularly to consider applications for grants. These vary from supporting “Day in the Bay” with specific assistance to helping to buy archery equipment.

A range of grants usually up to 50% of cost are also given to supporting training courses including adventurous activities.

Will your project get that extra support to change a dream into reality? We don’t know, but application forms are available from RER House. There is only one certainty, if you don’t apply you won’t get a grant.

Gerald Nowell,
Chair of Grants

Applying for a Grant

To Apply for a grant please follow the simple steps outlined below and remember to provide all the information requested or your application may be delayed unnecessarily.

  4. Completed forms are to be sent to The Hub mark for the attention of the Grants Sub-Committee to Maitland Street, Gabalfa, Cardiff, CF14 3JU. Your application will be acknowledged upon receipt.

Application Guidelines

These guidelines outline the general conditions in relation to what grant assistance is available, the rules that need to be followed in order to become eligible and how it should be claimed.

The grants dispersed by the sub-committee are intended to support the training of adults in Scouting, across a wide range of experiences.

The sub-committee also makes grants for the purchase of equipment. These guidelines are the main policies of the grants scheme and the criteria that will be used to assess applications.
