The updated Adventurous Activity Permit Scheme is the result of a two year consultation on the existing Authorisation Scheme. It is an internal assessment scheme designed to ensure that all those leading adventurous activities for young people within Scouting have the skills, experience and personal suitability to do so.
Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan moved over to the new adventurous activity permit scheme on the 1st February 2007.
